Syltone Acquire AARIG Terminal Systems Inc & CE-Loading Systems Inc, USA

Syltone plc has announced its acquisition of the assets of key US based loading arm manufacturers, CE-Loading Systems Inc of Houston Texas and AARIG Terminal Systems Inc of Gulfport Mississippi.

The UK based Engineering Group, Syltone plc is a provider of systems to the international fluid handling and transportation industry. These systems provide safe, cost effective solutions to the problems faced by operators around the world. The core of the business is the manufacture of engineered products with industry leading brand names such as Emco Wheaton, Perolo and Drum.

Syltone plc Fluid Transfer Division (FTD) has long stated its intent to become a major supplier and after sales service provider of Marine Loading Systems on a global basis. This acquisition not only represents a key element to this strategy but will also provide the N. American market with the levels of after-care that is appropriate for what is often a critical system within the end-users operation.

This acquisition considerably strengthens the existing FTD N. American operations and provides customers with the many benefits now available of working with a total solution supplier.

The combined organisation will have the largest installed base in N. America, a position it will use to enhance its service support operations. In addition, its manufacturing capacity has been substantially increased, leading to improved response and delivery lead times.

The new operation is located in a modern purpose built loading arm-manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas and is fully operational as of today.
